Leadership

BRANDON JUNDT

Mr. Jundt, serves as the CEO and sole member of Wynkoop LLC. Mr. Jundt’s career started in 1999 as an analyst in the finance department of CoBiz Inc., a $2.5 billion financial services holding company based in Denver, Colorado. From 2001 to 2005, Mr. Jundt served as the sole capital markets officer of the company. His responsibilities included helping to manage a $500 million portfolio of mortgage-backed securities, modeling interest rate risk and hedging it in the derivatives markets, corporate M&A modeling and due diligence. From 2005 to 2008, Mr. Jundt served as a senior investment analyst and vice president of ABS trading at Braddock Financial Corp., a multi-billion dollar investment manager focused on high-yield non-agency mortgage-backed securities. Mr. Jundt left Braddock in 2008 and spent the next year as an independent consultant for EBF & Associates, a multi-billion dollar investment manager. He then founded Wynkoop LLC in 2009. Mr. Jundt has served on the board of Athilon Group Holdings, a credit derivatives product company with $45 billion in outstanding insurance policies on structured corporate and sovereign credit. He has a BSBA in Finance from the University of Denver.

LELAND ABRAMS

Leland Abrams formerly was the RMBS Sector Manager for Candlewood Investment Group, LP, where he was responsible for overseeing approximately half of their structured credit investments ($1bn+). Mr. Abrams was employed at Candlewood from November 2010 until April 2016.  Previously, Mr. Abrams spent two and a half years as a structured mortgage and esoteric ABS trader and credit analyst at United Capital Markets, Inc. where his primary focus was to make markets, providing liquidity for institutional clients, using the firm’s capital. Prior to that, Mr. Abrams was employed at Dresdner Bank, A.G. as a credit analyst and trader on the bank’s proprietary credit trading desk. Mr. Abrams was responsible for co-managing a $4 billion+ book including RMBS, CMBS, and various other ABS products. Mr. Abrams holds a B.A. in Economics from Bucknell University.

DAVID MYERS

Prior to joining the Investment Manager in 2011, Mr. Myers spent 13 years at Braddock Financial Corp. as a Principal, Senior Portfolio Manager and the Head of Trading. His focus encompassed all structured finance products with a concentration on non-agency MBS credit support bonds and related hedges. Before joining Braddock, Mr. Myers worked at Sonnenblick Goldman, a New York-based investment bank, specializing as an analyst of the resort/hotel industry. He holds a Masters of Science in Finance from the University of Colorado and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Colorado..
